The new Windsor constituency

The Windsor constituency is changing and there is a genuine change to elect a Labour MP for the first time. Following the Boundary Commission’s 2023 Review of Parliamentary Constituencies significant changes are being made to the parliamentary constituency of Windsor.

29% of the previous seat is being moved out of the constituency to Bracknell and Maidenhead. To compensate this, several Labour voting areas from Slough and Runnymede boroughs are moving into the new Windsor seat.

Colnbrook & Poyle, Langley Foxborough, Langley Marish (most) and Langley St Mary’s (partly) are the Slough wards that are in the new Windsor constituency. Englefield Green East, Englefield Green West and Virginia Water are the Runnymede wards that are in the new Windsor constituency.

The Royal Borough wards of Ascot & Sunninghill; Clewer & Dedworth East; Clewer & Dedworth West, Clewer East; Datchet, Horton & Wraysbury; Eton & Castle; Old Windsor; and Sunningdale & Cheapside are remaining in Windsor parliamentary constituency.
